HOW DO I OBTAIN MY LICENSE AFTER TAKING THIS COURSE:

• There is a prelicensing requirement for the Georgia Adjuster or Public Adjuster license. This means you must pass the final exam that is included with this course. Once you have passed the course final exam, you will receive the course completion certificate you need to submit with your license application. Each student has a total of 3 attempts to pass the course final exam.
  
  
• The Georgia Department requires that an exam proctor (disinterested third party) observe you while taking the course final exam. Your exam proctor is required to sign an affidavit to prove you had them watch you throughout the exam. This is a requirement for ALL COURSE VENDORS that issue a course completion certificate to you. Insurance Schools offers online proctoring via webcam for the course final exam at no additional fee!
  
  
• The state exam vendor for Georgia is: PearsonVue.com. Once you have passed the PearsonVue exam, you will follow the licensing process as outlined on the Department of Insurance website.
  
  
• The state exam for this license is 2 hours (120 minutes) and contains 100 questions. This means you have a little more than 1 minute to answer each question. You must score a 70% or higher to pass the state licensing exam.
  
  
• There is a prelicensing requirement for Georgia RESIDENT Adjusters. This means that students who are residents of Georgia and wish to apply for a Georgia Adjuster or Public Adjuster license must pass the course final exam within this course IN ADDITION TO the PearsonVue state licensing exam. Passing the course final exam allows a course completion certificate to be issued. This certificate is required when submitting the license application. Those who are non-residents of Georgia can take the PearsonVUE exam alone, but for our course guarantee to be activated, non-residents would also need to pass the course final exam.
  
  
• Georgia permits students to take the PearsonVue exam before passing the course final exam and receiving the course completion certificate. However, students  who pass the PearsonVue state exam but haven't passed our course final exam are still required to pass the course final exam before they can apply for their license. The course permits all students to have 3 attempts to pass the course final exam.
