HOW DO I OBTAIN MY LICENSE AFTER TAKING THIS COURSE:

• The state exam vendor for the North Carolina is PearsonVUE.com.
  
  
• The PearsonVUE state licensing exam contains 100 questions and 20 pretest questions. The permitted time limit 135 minutes (two hours, 15 minutes). This means you will have a little more than 1 minute to answer each question.
  
  
• Additionally, this is a one-size-fits-all adjuster state exam.  Students seeking a public adjuster license or, an independent / company / staff adjuster license (a person working FOR an insurance company) must take this state exam.  Once you pass this state exam, you will apply to the state of North Carolina for the type of adjuster license you're seeking. 
  
  
• There is no prelicensing requirement for this exam. This means that students who wish to take the North Carolina Adjuster exam do not need to pass a course to earn a course completion certificate.
